Week 7 – Auto Pilot

autopilot-3Week 7 and I was hoping that by now I would be operating more on auto pilot than I actually am.

I still find myself having to give myself a prompt to notice the colours and shapes, notice nature, give compliments to everyone I meet and silently say “I Love You”. Am I being too harsh on myself? It may feel forced to try to notice all these things everyday but at least I am noticing. Maybe this is still the old blueprint resisting change or maybe it’s just me trying to be a perfectionist instead of letting the experience wash over me and happen a little more naturally – less forced?

autopilot-1

That said, I do feel like things are starting to happen in my life that feel like they have happened because of what we are learning here. My DMP covers a few business goals and without the exact understanding of how some of these things will happen I’m already being introduced to potential new clients without really trying too hard. I can only put this down to the MKMME.

Having a recording of myself is a useful tool but I’m not really getting as much benefit from it as maybe I would have done when I spent more time travelling. Working from home, as I do now, I have found myself having to make time to actually listen to the recordings. I spend a lot of time on the phone throughout the day so even just listening whilst working on my computer has been a challenge.

Still, I know this is just another tool to add to our armoury so I will make use of it as and when I can.

autopilot-2I would say that generally this has been a good week overall and I do see a change (for the better) and I expect that given a few more weeks of disciplined action on the exercises then things will start to be more on auto pilot.

Until next week then.

Week 6 – The Test

blueprintSomehow I knew that this week was going to be my biggest challenge to date with the MKMMA. Just as a lot of members may be starting to feel like things are clicking in to place for them and becoming more automatic, I was ready to be challenged by my old blueprint more than ever before.

You see, even though every week so far has had it’s own challenges as we try to undo years of conditioning, chipping away the cement and trying to re-write the programme running our everyday lives, I had an extra bit of cement to chip off. You may recall that I started this course a couple of years ago and dropped out after 6 weeks, letting my old blueprint at the time win the battle. Well, this gave my old blueprint the upper hand in this battle as he said to me “It’s week 6. This is getting difficult. Remember what happened last time? It would be easier to quit. You don’t need this course. Look how far you’ve come in the last couple of years without it”.

Up yours!” I said to my old blueprint. You will not win the battle this time and you will certainly not win the war!!

I must admit that I’ve missed some night time reads this week (the most important ones) and I think this may have been part of my battle with the old BP. Maybe he could sense me winning so fought harder to pull me back in to the familiar? My old habit of putting the dogs to bed and then going up myself and just crashing instead of doing my reading first. It’s just too easy to do.

Well, I’ve noticed it so maybe that is half the battle. Now I’m doing something about it. I’m standing firm. I will not lose the battle. My old blueprint will soon be over-written with new beliefs.

Stick with the programme, do the exercises, change, win – that’s what I’m resolute to do now.

What else have I learned this week? Scroll 2, Wow!!

If only everyone knew about these scrolls and lived by them. What a wonderful planet we would live on.

heartGreet everyday with love in my heart

When you stop to think about it we’ve all probably experienced this at some point in our lives. Emit LOVE and other people have no choice but to love you back. Think about when you are a child and do something naughty. Your mum or dad is telling you off and you beam a beautiful big smile towards them and they melt and smile back and they cannot be mad at you any longer.

A smile is so infectious and I guess having love in your heart for all mankind works in the same way.

Master Key Part 6

‘The knowledge that if we infringe upon the rights of others, we become moral thorns and find ourselves entangled at every turn of the road, should be an indication that success is contingent upon the highest moral ideal, which is “The greatest good to the greatest number”.

I guess this links to our Blueprint Builder point 5: “I fully realise that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice, therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects”.

So, if I live by the principle of greeting everyday with love in my heart AND the principle of providing the greatest good to the greatest number, then I think I’m on the right path to a good life that I can be proud of.

Until next week then, I wish you all the success with sticking to your chosen path.

Week 5 – No Opinions

opinionI guess this is one of the objectives of the course – To Feel Challenged! Again, this week has been a challenge for me. I’ve tried to not have opinions but keep catching myself out.

I didn’t realise how opinionated I was until I started recognising it this week. Seems like I have an opinion every other minute of the day. Maybe that’s to be expected as a RED?

So, for the last few weekends we’ve been decorating our house. We moved in a year ago and the house builders painted everywhere Magnolia. This was ok with us as it allowed us to move in and get settled without needing to decorate. However, the time has come and the boss (Fi) has decided that we now need to add some colour and put some personal touches on the house to make it a home.
I love the colour we’ve chosen for the hall (is this an opinion?). Doh!!

This started by me having to re-paint the living room in preparation for Fi (with the help of her dad) to paper the ‘Feature’ wall. This was followed by a similar pattern in the hallway and staircases. Good news here was that I used the painting on my service card – I ACCOMPLISHED IT. Maybe this is linked to dual thought somehow?

Anyway, there was some paper left over from the living room and Fi had mentioned that she might use it for the downstairs toilet. Fi’s dad took it upon himself to do a good deed and surprise us by papering the toilet while we were out for a reunion lunch with my brother who I haven’t spoken to for 7 years (there’s another story for a different day).

Problem was that the papering wasn’t exactly to the standard Fi would have held herself to. The pattern didn’t match up correctly, the edge wasn’t cut straight, the paper wasn’t stuck down properly in places and and accident with some scissors whilst hanging the paper put a hole in the paper.

Well, it’s safe to say that we had an opinion about this. Fi more so than me. Thank god for the course. I caught myself having an opinion and I managed to bring Fi back to earth (practically scraping her off the ceiling) and focus on the fact that her dad was trying to do a good deed. Maybe we wouldn’t have done any better ourselves!!

How could we say anything without hurting his feelings? Fi suggested we could re-paper it one day when he was out (Fi’s mum & dad live with us). We eventually agreed that we could put up a floating shelf to cover the hole in the paper and hang a picture or mirror above the shelf to distract from the pattern not matching. Problem solved!

So what else has been going on this week?

In the Master Key part 5 a couple of things stuck with me this week.

  1. At least 90% of our mental life is subconscious, so that those who fail to make use of this mental power live within very narrow limits.

I’ve heard it said many times over the years that humans only use about 10% of their brain. Maybe this is linked? If the subconscious accounts for 90% then that leaves 10% for the conscious. If we learn to manage the 90% we can make full use of what we have and create anything we desire?

  2. The subconscious can and will solve any problem for us if we know how to direct it.

Wow! This is huge. Learn to trust the subconscious. Give it a problem to solve and it will work on finding the answer 24/7. Is this how my DMP will be achieved? I think so. The blueprint builder says “I realise the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward physical action and gradually transform themselves into physical reality”.
I think this is the key. Keep thinking of the things you wish to manifest, hear the answer from ‘subby’ and take action.

A good week even though challenging on the opinions front. Now on to my next challenge – readingcompensation The Law of Compensation.

Until next week.

Week 4 – I Can Be What I Will To Be

mastermindI must admit to struggling a little this week with the Master Key lesson part 4. I am not my body and I am not my mind. What the hell am I then was the question ringing out loud in my ears.

This is quite the discovery. To understand that the body is just the physical entity to carry out the wishes of the ‘I’ and that the mind is universal and used by the ‘I’ to think, reason & plan. What I found difficult was distinguishing between the ‘I’ and my brain. Is it the ‘Consciousness’ that is the ‘I’?

Is the ‘Consciousness’ being carried by the physical body and the brain is just the tool it uses to think and connect with the universal mind?

I think I’m going to have to ponder this a little longer and use the members alliance area to mastermind with others to gain a better understanding.

What I picked up on this week were 2 main things;

  1. “I Can Be What I Will To Be”. This is so powerful. Knowing that we can be anything we want to be by simply willing it. If we focus on anything enough it has no choice but to manifest itself in the physical. We’ve been reading this for 4 weeks now in the Blueprint Builder.
  2. If you do not intend to do a thing then you better not start at all. Wow! I can see so many things in my past where I have started things and not finished them. These failures have created a habit of failure. This is what we are now working on with the index cards. Creating a habit of completing things so that we can get ‘subby’ used to us succeeding at everything we write down on our index cards. In the process we write a new blueprint for our subconscious to work with.

Also got to meet my guide this week on a Skype call which was great. To meet face to face and talk through the challenges and get advice about my DMP was so much better than getting an email. looking forward to many more conversations and also meeting the rest of our tribe.

Until next week then.

Week 3 – Routine

clockworkWell week 3 already – how time flies when you are having fun. The routine of reading, sitting etc is becoming a lot easier now although I do find the last read at night before bed a challenge. I know it is one of the most important to get done as it feeds the subconscious throughout the night but it is still the one I find a chore. I really need to sort myself out on this one. I’m thinking I should schedule everything for 9pm which is an hour before our usual bedtime rather than wait until 10pm when I’m really tired.

I must admit that I’m not thinking about or linking the colours and shapes automatically yet which I thought I would do. I’m really going to work much harder on this in the coming weeks as I believe the importance of this will make everything much easier in the future if I can nail it now. Need to make a much more conscious effort on noticing the colours and shapes and linking them back to the chores etc.

Have re-written my DMP about 3 times this week. I know it’s going to come back with more suggestions but I think I’m slowly starting to uncover what it is I really desire. I think this is huge. Most people never take the time to actually sit down and decide exactly what they want their life to look like never mind make a plan for it to happen.

I’ve found the sit both easy & challenging this week. I find it very easy to relax completely. In fact it’s all I can do to stay awake sometimes. I need to set an alarm so that I don’t spend too long sitting. The challenging part has been trying to think about NOTHING.

It is so difficult keeping your mind blank. I’ve tried to focus on seeing just white in my mind to see if that helps but the mind wonders. It’s amazing how many things pop in to your head when you are trying to keep it clear. Interested to see what other exercises Hannel has in store for us in the coming weeks.

Reading ‘The Greatest Salesman’ without the word ‘will’ has been really good. I even noticed it in my DMP and removed it immediately. I think I understand why this is a negative word. ‘WILL’ implies that we are GOING to do something. Instead we should be stating everything in the present as though it has already been achieved. This is much easier for ‘subby’ to work with.

Roll on week 4.

Week 2 – A Challenging Week?

busy-foolSo, we are into week 2 and things already seem to be hotting up a little for me in terms of how much needs to be done. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that there actually IS too much to do but a combination of my old blueprint telling me it’s a lot of work and the fact that I’ve been on holiday.

I really thought that being on holiday would have made things easier but it actually became a challenge. Not the readings or anything like that. The reading & sitting was actually very easy as I had time to do this at the beach or sat on the patio at our villa. What I found a challenge was missing the Sunday webinar because we were out for an evening meal with friends and then trying to catch up.

I had promised my business partner that we could do some work on the Monday so I didn’t get the chance to watch the webinar replay until Tuesday. This made me feel like I was way behind where I needed to be. My advise to anyone reading this who may become an MKMME student in the future is to not miss a Sunday night webby. These set you up for the week on the right path.

My other piece of advice to any future students is to not let yourself get sucked in to the old blueprint and start thinking that there is lots of work to do. I probably only realise this because of my earlier attempt in 2014. Just give it your best shot and don’t beat yourself up. If you miss a couple of reads just make sure that you acknowledge it and then attempt to do better.

Anyway, having now caught up (Thursday) I’m happy to say that I’ve forwarded my reviewed DMP to my guide and await some feedback. I’m not sure – actually scrub that – I’m positive that I will need to re-write it, as it still doesn’t stir enough emotion when I read it. I realised this afternoon after submitting it. This is a Work In Progress so I trust that it will just come right over the next couple of weeks if I keep working on it and trust my subconscious. I must remember to put as much emotion in to it as possible.

I love the idea this week of using the index cards to trick the subconscious mind in to accepting that we always keep our promises and accomplish any task. “I Always Keep My Promises – Lee Henshaw”. We are not tricking it as such but training it that we do what we say we will do with small tasks. Because the subconscious cannot tell the difference in scale between small and large tasks it just accepts that we always accomplish our tasks. AMAZING!

index-cards

Who would have thought that something as simple as index cards could be so powerful?

I’ve tried all sorts of different task & To Do apps and organisers in the past (I’m a bit of a gadget geek) when working in the corporate world but none of them actually have the power of this piece of card and help you achieve more. Hey Mark & Davene, maybe you should market this??

I’m loving the Master Key Lesson 2 this week. Hannel talks about the subconscious mind running all of our basic functions like walking, raising an arm at will. The subconscious does everything effortlessly like; breathing, pumping blood around our body, repairing the body and retrieving information from our memory when required.

Does this mean that our subconscious is basically a super-computer running several programmes in background services?

If so, all we have to do to change things is give it a new programme to run. This can be an additional programme or it can be a re-write of an old programme.

We have to be careful here though to make sure that the programmer or as Hannel calls it “The Watchman at the Gate” writes good code. Ask any software developer and they will tell you that 2 programmers writing the same application will never write it exactly the same way. One way will be very efficiently coded and will run smoothly and the other my have bugs or just be more resource hungry on the memory.

Of course, what I’m referring to in the previous paragraph is our Conscious Mind. This is “The Watchman at the Gate”. This is the thing that we have control over and must be aware of what it feeds our Subconscious Mind. You see, the subconscious like a computer will just take instructions and perform tasks. It does not discriminate or question the programmer. There is also another danger here. It is not only the programmer (Conscious Mind) that is giving instructions. Our Subconscious Mind also hears lots of noise from the outside world if ‘The Watchman at the Gate” is not on guard.

And this is also the MAGIC. We can change ANYTHING we wish by changing the programme. By doing the exercises in this Mastermind Alliance we learn to train our subconscious to do the tasks necessary to achieve our DMP (Definite Major Purpose). We don’t even need to give it instructions. If we attach enough emotion to our desire then the subconscious which is connected to the Universal Mind will find the right resources required to achieve its objective. This does not mean we can simply think of what we want and wait for it to show up. We still have to take action! We just don’t necessarily need to know what actions to take when we decide what we want to achieve. Decide what we want and the way will be found!

I must admit that I do struggle a little with my old blueprint telling me I feel stupid when reading things out loud i.e., my new Blueprint Builder, DMP or “Do It Now’ but as Mark said on the webinar you just have to get over it as this is really powerful when it comes to ‘Subby’. It acts upon the spoken word better then thoughts. Still some cement to be chipped off I guess!

So that’s it for another week. Looking forward to the changes to come over the next 24 weeks.

Week 1 – Second Time Around part 2

I’ve been fascinated this week about the ‘Universal Mind’. The world within is where we create the world without.

What does this mean? I struggled a little with this at first but then thought about how everything we can see was first created in someones mind. If you are reading this from a laptop, desktop, tablet or smart phone then each of these things was first created in someones mind before they were ever created in the world without.

I guess that is the power of correct thinking and the world within.

Universal mind still left me a little confused until I had read Hannel’s first lesson a few times. I then likened universal mind to electricity. Hannel talks about universal mind being like a static energy or potential energy. This potential energy can only be manifested through the individual with their ability to think. Thought turns the static energy into dynamic energy. Both useless on their own but very powerful when combined.

So, I thought about the universal mind being like electricity. By itself it is nothing, it has no power and can do nothing. The same goes for a kettle. Without electricity the kettle has no power and can do nothing other than be a vessel to hold water.

Connect the two and see the magic happen. The kettle uses the electricity that an element that in turn heats the water. Like the universal mind & thought they have combined to create a reaction in the world without.

A great first week and looking forward to developing this further in week 2.

Week 1 – Second Time Around part 1

As the title suggests, I’ve been here before with the MKMMA. Unfortunately, I didn’t stick it last time and didn’t complete the 26 weeks. I’ve been waiting for the chance to put that right and finally here I am.

Although I only made it to around week 7 last time out, I applied what I did learn and I’m pretty convinced that it helped me achieve so much more than I would have done otherwise. I now live in a brand new house, on the exact estate, in the exact village which I detailed in my DMP. I gave up my full time job last month to work from home and focus on my businesses too which was also my dream.

So, the journey begins and I really feel like I have a much better understanding this time of how important the mind and the world within is to our success.

good-habits-7-bad-habits

The first day has seemed like I haven’t done much other than MKMMA stuff. My fault for not realising that I could have done some preparation by logging in to the dashboard on Saturday. Anyway, I’m all set now and followed the instructions re: reading the first scroll from ‘The Greatest Salesman”, reading my Blueprint Builder out loud, reading part one in “The Master Keys” and sitting for 15 minutes.

The sit was pretty challenging. It’s amazing how easy it is for your mind to wander and get distracted. The trick is to bring it back as soon as you realise and focus on the objective.

Forget the itch! Amazing how when you don’t want something it appears. Try to not think of a pink elephant – pretty impossible, even if it’s just for a split second to not get a picture of a pink elephant in your mind. The same goes for the itch. You have to ignore it and take control of your mind.

I guess this goes to show how powerful the mind really is but also how fragile it can be if we don’t learn to control it. The subconscious mind cannot tell the difference from reality and something imagined so we need to be mindful of what we feed it. We need to make sure that we focus on what we do want and not on things we don’t want as the mind cannot distinguish between the two.

I’ll update my blog with a part 2 later this week when I’ve spent some more time with the scroll and master key lesson.
